Falcon paced from one side to other of the small waiting room of the infirmary, anxious about an answer from the doctor, while Samus sat there, watching the door.
As soon as Dr. Mario opened the door and stepped into the room, Falcon walked to him.

“Well, he seems to be fine,” he said, taking a look at the papers he had on his hands. “Although, I’m afraid he cracked a rib.”

“Are you really going to do it?” Samus asked, leaning on the wall of the room.
“Yes. I’m not going to sit around and let him say whatever he wants,” Falcon said, straightening his scarf. “And you better know that I’m just giving you an edge on this because we are good friends and, even though you are strong, you are a still a lady. I can’t hurt you for real.”
“How nice of you,” Samus said, getting away from the wall and walking next to Falcon. “I don’t know what you are trying to prove with that.”

Samus didn’t know how she did that, but she could actually convinced both Snake and Falcon to join her at the mansion’s bar to have a drink. She thought it would be nice for them to get together like that, share a conversation and know more about each other. She was starting to enjoy that ‘group’ thing.
Also, since the security system was going to be down for maintenance the next day, they didn’t have to worry about waking up early and being all prepared to fight, so they could enjoy that night with no guilt on their minds.
